Blueberry Bread

Preheat oven to 450F.

1/2 cup butter

3 tablespoons sugar

2 cups flour total, up to 1 C whole wheat

3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) fresh! baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 egg

3/4 cup+ 1 tablespoon milk

cinnamon sugar

In food processor combine all dry ingredients and cut in butter. Turn into basin and add blueberries, beaten egg, and milk. Mix lightly to blend.

On a greased baking tray pat dough into a 9"x12" rectangle (measure it), about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake at 450F for 8-10 minutes. Test at 8 min.

Makes 12 generous servings in a multi-course breakfast.
