Bay Ledge Granola

3 cups of old-fashion oats

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 cup of wheat germ

1 cup of grated coconut

1 1/2 cups of cashews, chopped coarse

1/3 cup of honey

1/3 cup of vegetable oil

1/4 cup orange juice

3/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup of dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 350 F. and lightly oil a roasting pan.

In a large bowl combine the first five ingredients. Heat honey, oil, orange juice, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in microwave until hot. Stir and pour over oat mixture. Toss granola well. Spread granola in prepared pan and bake in oven, stirring every 5 minutes until golden, about 30 minutes. Cool granola completely and add cranberries. Toss granola lightly.

Makes 6 1/2 cups.
