It is with longing and regret that we say goodbye to one of the most successful and prominent Millionaires ever to grace Hancock County, Rick Allen Rochester. The passing of Mr. Rochester is due to an unfortunate and illegal event, for Mr. Rochester was slain in an act of Cold Blood at Cleftstone Manor earlier this week.
Rick Rochester was born right here in Hancock County, where he grew up at Cleftstone Manor. At the young age of 20, Rick lost his uncle to an untimely death. It is with the passing of his uncle that Rick gained his millions, including Cleftstone Manor, an estate of insurmountable wealth. Along with the great inheritance that Rick received from his uncle, Rick grew his money exponentially over the years by making a name for himself in the business world of art collecting and distributing. Over the years, his gallery has grown to house one of the finest art collections in the world.
As far as the cause of his death, "The one solid fact to which a study of evidence inevitably leads us to is that the victim did not commit suicide, and that the death by misadventure is out of the question," says Officer Welsh, the crime scene investigator.
The Officer went on to say "Rick Rochester was willfully slain by someone he had no reason to fear and he had perfect confidence in." The evidence in this case is very inconclusive and suggests various motives for who the killer may be, but none with concrete certainty. Authorities say that this is a case in which the true evidence cannot possibly be deciphered and the killer revealed by an other than the victim's closest friends and relatives.
In respect for the timeless Cleftstone Manor, where Rick Rochester both resided and was murdered, and in Mr. Rochester's memory, Mr. Rochester's lawyer, Reilly Ravish, has asked that the investigation be postponed until family and friend's have had a chance to gather and to pay tribute to Mr. Rochester at Cleftstone Manor. His Gathering will take place at the Will reading of the Late Millionaire.
This Will reading will take place on Saturday May 30th, at 6.00pm, at Cleftstone Manor in Bar Harbor. The evening will include a seven course gourmet dinner, conversation with the surviving members of your family and more mystery and mayhem as we try to discover who murdered our beloved Rick.
