Nestled on a quiet side street in Bar Harbor, Moseley Cottage Inn has welcomed visitors for many years. Built in 1884 this charming Victorian bed and breakfast inn offers a private haven off the beaten path.
Moseley Cottage Inn is a small, intimate inn, furnished with antiques and a warm atmosphere. The nine guest rooms, all with private baths, are comfortably yet tastefully decorated. Guests at the inn are also treated to a full breakfast.

Hi! Please join us at the Inn at Bay Ledge for a much needed vacation! Take time to relax, renew and rejuvenate after a very unusual year! Simply sit and enjoy our wicker lined porch over looking Frenchman Bay, wonder the beach in search of beach glass, relax by the pool. A little more adventurous, it is a short walk to kayaks, paddle boards or a ride on a restored schooner. Saltair Inn Waterfront B&B
Three blocks from the center of town, the Saltair Inn is set on over one acre of waterfront property. The inn is within easy walking distance to everything in the village, yet far enough removed to preserve the peaceful tranquility of its distinguished location in the Bar Harbor Historic District.
Constructed in 1886 by Boston architect Arthur Rotch, the Saltair has been carefully renovated to accommodate guests while preserving the original architecture and period elements of its Victorian heritage. Each accommodation offers thoughtful appointments and amenities appreciated by modern travelers without compromising the historic legacy of the home.
Spacious luxury suites are appointed with king-size beds, elegant private baths, multiple gas fireplaces, TV, and private sitting rooms overlooking the Bay. An expansive back lawn slopes gently from the rear of the house to the water's edge where low tide reveals a sand bar connecting the Saltair property to Bar Island, from which Bar Harbor takes its name.A full breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30 AM on the rear deck or in the formal dining room overlooking the Bay. For early risers, fresh-brewed gourmet coffee is ready by 7:00 AM.

Black Friar Inn
In character of European bed and breakfasts, the Black Friar has a pub/restaurant serving guests and folks off the street alike.
The Black Friar Inn has an ideal in-town location tucked away on a quiet side street in the center of Bar Harbor. This in-town bed and breakfast has fine architectural woodwork salvaged from old area mansions (dubbed cottages by the wealthy summer residents of the 1800's) creating an old European charm to the inn. Built in 1876, our home was originally built as summer lodging for the wealthy looking to escape the heat of Boston and New York City. This house has had several reincarnations over its life and has been summer apartments, a hostel and a nursing home. Spared from the devastating fire of 1947 that burned much of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, this house was finally turned into a Bed & Breakfast in the early 1980's.
Today, this home's wonderful accommodations and amenities make it the perfect setting for your Bar Harbor visit.
